Captain Linnell House, Orleans, MA |
Elegant, live harp music can enhance your wedding or special
event. The harp is a perfect choice for background music at a bridal
shower, baptism celebration, birthday party, holiday function, cocktail
party or corporate event. It provides a gentle elegant ambiance without
obstructing conversations. Sarah is equally skilled at playing classical
music, traditional Irish melodies, jazzy classics, romantic movie themes
or Broadway show tunes. You can choose the repertoire to personalize your
occasion.

"I just wanted to thank you for contributing to a great day.
You did a wonderful job at the church and the cocktail hour. The music
sounded incredible. Bob and I knew it was going to be a beautiful day. I
must say it was beyond any expectations we had and your contribution was
much appreciated."

If you are planning a
wedding, there are several points in the ceremony to incorporate the
romantic sound of the harp.
-
Preludes
are played before the ceremony as guests are seated.
-
Processionals
are played for the seating of the mothers, entrance of the bridal party
and entrance of the bride.
-
A Musical Meditation
may be played during the lighting of the unity candle, communion,
sharing of the peace or following the vows.
-
The Recessional
is played as the bridal party and guests depart.
Outlined below are some
of the traditional selections for the different parts of the wedding
ceremony. Of course, you may interchange or select other music for your
ceremony from the extended list on the
Repertoire page. Sarah is experienced playing for
Christian, Jewish and Civil Ceremonies. Please ask if you have questions
about music that would be appropriate for your faith.
If you have a special
request that is not listed please contact Sarah directly. Sarah is
usually able to honor most special requests and she is happy to work with
you to make your event musically beautiful. |
